The role of Elektroniker:in für Betriebstechnik involves maintaining and repairing essential safety and signaling systems for railway operations, ensuring smooth and safe transportation for passengers. The apprenticeship combines hands-on work in the railway network, technical training, and independent troubleshooting skills development.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work outdoors in the railway network with your team
Familiarization with maintenance and repair of control and safety technology such as signals, switch motors, and railway crossings
Learn to analyze and resolve issues in operational technology
Gain knowledge of measurement, testing, and diagnostic methods

Anforderungen:

School graduation (or soon to be completed) recognized in Germany
German language skills at least B2 level
Enjoyment of math and physics
Manual dexterity and interest in tinkering with electronic components
Team-oriented and reliable
Ability to work independently
