The 3.5-year apprenticeship as an electronics technician for operational technology (m/f/d) at DB Regio AG in the workshop in Magdeburg offers a varied training program with alternating weeks in the company and vocational school. The vocational school is located in Leipzig, and the training workshop is near Leipzig's main train station. A dormitory place is provided free of charge for these phases. The apprenticeship includes learning about maintenance and repair of electronic components in trains, measurement and diagnostic procedures, and technical documentation. After the apprenticeship, the role is crucial for the smooth operation of railway traffic.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Maintenance and repair of electronic components in trains (e.g., information displays, air conditioning, lighting systems, doors, and monitoring systems)
Learning measurement, testing, and diagnostic procedures
Analyzing and troubleshooting technical issues
Documenting technical work

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of school with a recognized German school-leaving certificate
Interest and enjoyment in mathematics and physics
Manual dexterity and enjoyment in working with electronic components
Teamwork skills
Conscientious and independent work ethic
