As an Electronics Technician for Operational Technology, you will be a crucial part of ensuring smooth railway operations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing electrical systems along the tracks, primarily working outdoors. During your 3.5-year training, you will become familiar with the maintenance and repair of signaling and safety technology, such as signals, switch motors, and level crossings. Your workday will start and end at your regional base in Weiden, from where you will travel to various work sites with your team.
