As an Elektroniker:in für Betriebstechnik, you play a crucial role in ensuring smooth railway operations. Your work ensures trains run and passengers reach their destinations safely and quickly. The 3.5-year apprenticeship starts on 01.09.2026 at DB Regio AG in Dortmund, with vocational school also in Dortmund. The apprenticeship can be in various areas such as trains, tracks, power lines, stations, or workshops.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Understanding electrical quantities like voltage, current, resistance, and power
Analyzing and fixing faults in operational technology
Ensuring smooth operation of facilities and power supply to trains
Installing and maintaining electronic systems
Replacing signals and lamps
Ensuring electronic components in trains function correctly
Assisting with broken escalators and elevators

Anforderungen:

School diploma recognized in Germany
German language proficiency at least B2 level
Interest in mathematics and physics
Handy with tools and enjoys working on electronic components
Team player
Reliable
Able to work independently
