Jobbeschreibung:

A 4.5-year dual study program leading to a Bachelor of Engineering in Railway Engineering with integrated vocational training as a railway operative in train traffic control at DB InfraGO AG in Erfurt. The program alternates between theoretical phases at the Erfurt University of Applied Sciences and practical phases in train traffic control and infrastructure planning.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Getting to know the company and the operations center during a 1-month preliminary internship
Familiarizing with tasks in train traffic control during practice phases
Gaining comprehensive insights into infrastructure planning during regular operation and construction measures
Applying knowledge during semester breaks and consolidating it
Acquiring basic knowledge of business administration, economics, transport and transportation, computer science, and law
Gaining extensive specialist knowledge in the field of railway engineering, particularly in infrastructure planning and construction, transport economics, and transport policy

Anforderungen:

Successfully completed (or soon to complete) (Fach-)Abitur or equivalent vocational qualification
Interest in railway operations as well as economic and technical contexts
Ability to remain calm in difficult situations and good coordination skills
Concentrated way of working and good communication skills
Willingness to work in shift work and (after training) on weekends and public holidays
