The dual study program in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Control and Safety Technology combines theory and practice from the beginning. The program lasts for 3 years, with alternating theory and practice phases every 3 months. At least 50% of the university courses are conducted online. The theoretical phases cover mathematics, physics, business administration, signals and systems, electrical drives, mechatronic systems, control and circuit technology, measurement technology, electronic constructions, digital electronics, project management, quality management, and environmental management in electrical engineering. The practical phases involve monitoring construction projects with a focus on electrical engineering for rails and power lines, gaining insights into various phases of a construction project, and participating in current projects such as the construction of a new signal box.
