Jobbeschreibung:

Dual study program combining theoretical studies in civil engineering with practical vocational training as a track builder / civil engineering worker. The program lasts 4.5 years, with theoretical phases at the University of Magdeburg-Stendal and practical phases at DB InfraGO AG in Zwickau, vocational school in Magdeburg, and training workshop in Königsborn near Magdeburg.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Theoretical studies in engineering sciences including mathematics, physics, construction technology, geotechnics, hydraulics, and traffic engineering
Practical work in construction supervision, track construction, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of tracks and switches
Participation in infrastructure projects from planning to quality control

Anforderungen:

Abitur or equivalent vocational qualification
Interest in mathematics and physics
Enjoyment of teamwork
Craftsmanship skills
Willingness to work in varied tasks between office, planning, and construction sites with changing locations and working hours (including night shifts)
Goal-oriented and independent work ethic
