Jobbeschreibung:

The dual study program combines a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering with vocational training as a track builder / civil engineering specialist. The program lasts 4.5 years, with theoretical phases at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal and practical phases at the DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH in Oberhausen.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Combining theory and practice
Contributing to sustainable infrastructure expansion in Germany
Participating in construction supervision
Learning about construction calculation, project management
Gaining experience in track construction, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of tracks and switches
Participating in infrastructure projects from surveying to quality control

Anforderungen:

Abitur or equivalent qualification
Interest in mathematics and physics
Teamwork skills
Handicraft skills
Willingness to work in varied environments including office, planning, and construction sites
Ability to work independently and with determination
