The dual study program combines a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering with vocational training as a track builder or civil engineering specialist. The program lasts 4.5 years, with theoretical phases at the Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal and practical phases at DB InfraGO AG in Zwickau, vocational school in Magdeburg, and the training center in Königsborn. The program includes an introduction week in Leipzig, vocational training in the first three years, and full-time study in the final phase.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Combining theory and practice in civil engineering
contributing to infrastructure projects
participating in construction supervision
learning inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of tracks and switches
involvement in planning and implementation of infrastructure projects
quality control on construction sites

Anforderungen:

Abitur or equivalent qualification
interest in mathematics and physics
teamwork skills
manual dexterity
willingness to work in varied environments including office, planning, and construction sites
ability to work independently and goal-oriented
