Jobbeschreibung:

3-year vocational training as a dispatcher (w/m/d) at DB Regio AG in Hannover. The vocational school is located in Burgdorf and takes place in block lessons.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work in the control center of DB Regio AG and monitor ongoing rail operations
Learn the key role of a dispatcher in the system and become familiar with concepts for personnel and train deployment
Ensure that the effects of deviations in operational processes are minimized and that customers reach their destination safely and on time even in the event of disruptions
Learn how to handle disruptions in operational processes and initiate appropriate countermeasures (e.g., rerouting trains if sections of the route are not passable or organizing rail replacement services)
Knowledge of travel offers, service and safety services, line networks, transport contracts, and contractual penalties
Basics of customer advice and care, marketing, and project management

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of school with a recognized German school leaving certificate
Good knowledge of German language in spoken and written form
Ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in difficult situations
Willingness to take responsibility and make decisions
Willingness to work in shifts, on weekends, and on public holidays
