Jobbeschreibung:

The DB Cargo Eurasia GmbH is looking for a dispatcher for international rail transport (m/f/d) at the Berlin location. The tasks include disposition of international container transports, planning and calculating trains, ordering trains, coordinating with terminals, managing the wagon fleet, and being the point of contact for problems and customs matters. The profile requires completed commercial vocational training, several years of professional experience in transport, excellent communication skills, and very good German and English skills.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

responsible for the disposition of international container transports on the Eurasian corridor
planning and calculating trains
ordering trains from railway companies
coordinating with terminals
managing the wagon fleet (damaged wagon management)
keeping track of all trains
being the point of contact for problems and customs matters
working in an international team
supporting colleagues with irregularities or delays
general administrative tasks and statistics

Anforderungen:

successfully completed commercial vocational training with a focus on freight forwarding and/or logistics services, wholesale and foreign trade, or sales
several years of professional experience in the transport of international train containers, sea freight containers, or truck containers
excellent and targeted communication skills
high level of reliability, flexibility, and personal responsibility
customer- and service-oriented approach
quick comprehension and positive attitude in difficult situations
enjoyment of teamwork and close cooperation with international colleagues
very good German and English skills
proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
