To realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks and signaling systems, more than 10,000 engineers are currently working for us - far from enough. As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage or monitor something that remains: the infrastructure for future generations.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

responsible for the timely, technically correct and efficient processing of maintenance according to the state of the art and the relevant regulations as well as within the assigned budget
technical and disciplinary management for employees in the track area
evaluation of inspection results at assigned facilities and initiation of follow-up measures including documentation
ensuring compliance with defined maintenance target processes according to the standardization production system
responsible for secondary construction supervision and evaluation of measures from a cost-benefit perspective
initiating the recording and updating of the plant inventory in the maintenance IT systems, especially the mapping of technical locations in SAP R/3 network

Anforderungen:

successfully completed university degree in civil engineering or successfully completed master's training
interest in leading people
experience in operational maintenance of track systems is a plus
ability to explain complex facts, figures and results in an understandable way
appropriate and target group-oriented communication
familiarity with IT systems
valid class B driver's license
