Jobbeschreibung:

3-year apprenticeship as Baugeräteführer:in (m/f/d) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH in Bad Hersfeld. Vocational school instruction takes place in blocks at BBZ in Meiningen, and the training center is located in Walldorf. Accommodation and meals are provided by Deutsche Bahn. From the second year of training, you will increasingly work in shift operations. Due to assembly work, you will often be on the move and stay overnight elsewhere. Your area of operation extends over Hesse, Thuringia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, and Saxony.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Supporting track construction teams
Ensuring the safety of rail traffic
Surveying the track construction area
Handling construction equipment
Renewing ballast in the track bed
Installing new rails
Operating floor conveyor technology
Maintaining construction equipment

Anforderungen:

School completion with recognized diploma in Germany
German language proficiency at least B2 level
Engagement, conscientiousness, and reliability
Ability to work in a team and outdoors
Willingness to work in shifts
