Jobbeschreibung:

3-year apprenticeship as a Baugeräteführer:in (m/f/d) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH in the track construction unit at the Karlsruhe location. The training takes place in blocks at the training workshop in Augsburg and at the vocational school Staatliches Berufliches Schulzentrum Max-von-Pettenkofer Neuburg a.d. Donau. Accommodation is provided in Augsburg and Neuburg in a modern dormitory with other apprentices.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work in the area of track and switch superstructure, track welding, and machine technology
Training on track construction machines (crane, excavator, rapid conversion train)
Responsible for surveying the track construction area and handling modern construction equipment
Renewing ballast in the track bed, inserting new rails, operating floor conveyor technology, and maintaining construction equipment

Anforderungen:

School completion with recognized diploma in Germany
German language proficiency at least B2 level
Engagement, conscientiousness, and reliability
Teamwork and proactive attitude
Willingness to work outdoors and in shifts
