3-year apprenticeship as a Baugeräteführer:in (construction equipment operator) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH. The vocational school instruction takes place in blocks at BBZ in Meiningen, and the training center is located in Walldorf. From the second year of training, you will increasingly work in shift operation. Due to the nature of the work, you will often be on the move and stay overnight in different locations. The area of operation includes Hesse, Thuringia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, and Saxony.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Supporting track construction teams
Ensuring the safety of rail traffic
Surveying track construction areas
Handling construction equipment
Renewing ballast in the track bed
Installing new rails
Operating floor conveyor technology
Maintaining construction equipment

Anforderungen:

School completion with a recognized diploma in Germany
German language proficiency at least B2 level
Engagement, conscientiousness, and reliability
Ability to work in a team
Willingness to work outdoors and in shifts
