Jobbeschreibung:

Training preparation program for individuals who have completed school but haven't found an apprenticeship yet. Combines practical work on site with theoretical instruction in Erfurt. Aims to prepare participants for vocational training in railway track construction.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Supporting construction crews in track work
Learning how DB's rail network is inspected and maintained
Replacing damaged tracks and switches
Renewing track beds
Learning to work with various building materials and state-of-the-art machinery

Anforderungen:

School completion or soon to be completed
No apprenticeship found yet
No completed vocational training
Registered as "apprenticeship-seeking" with the Federal Employment Agency
Flexible regarding changing working hours
Teamwork skills
Openness to varied tasks
German language skills at least at B1 level
