The neurology department and neurological early rehabilitation cover the entire spectrum of the subject. Stroke patients are treated in the supraregional certified stroke unit. The department is integrated into the head center, ensuring close interdisciplinary contact with the neurosurgery clinic, radiology/neuroradiology department (mechanical recanalization on a 24/7 basis), the pediatric and adolescent medicine clinic, the eye clinic, and the ENT and maxillofacial surgery clinic. The equipment (color duplex, EEG, EMG, EPs) is state-of-the-art, and the department is authorized to train in specific neurological ultrasound diagnostics (DEGUM) and clinical neurophysiology (recognized DGKN training center). Participation in various clinical studies.
