Successfully completed commercial training or a degree in Finance/Accounting
Ideally completed further training as a Bilanzbuchhalter IHK
Several years of experience in general ledger accounting or financial accounting (preferably in a corporate environment or a Shared Service Center)
Comprehensive knowledge of monthly and annual financial statements
Very good knowledge of HGB (German Commercial Code)
Familiar with SAP FI (MM/SD advantageous)
Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
Working style described as careful, structured, and analytical
Pronounced personal responsibility and reliability
Strong team and communication skills

Verantwortlichkeiten

Responsible for central areas of general ledger accounting including monthly and annual financial statements, account reconciliation, and balance sheet preparation according to HGB
Act as interface to auditors, tax consultants, and adjacent finance areas
Independently manage general ledger areas and posting cycles, from ongoing bookkeeping to preparation and participation in monthly and annual financial statements
Perform account reconciliations and clarify complex business transactions
Handle balance sheet preparation according to HGB including provisions, accruals, and valuation of relevant balance sheet items
Perform regular intercompany reconciliations and clarify differences with group companies
Manage payment transactions, handle bank accounting, and ensure correct posting of payment processes
Support process optimization and actively participate in digitalization initiatives in the specialist area

Enrolled for at least two more semesters in business administration, business informatics, or a similar degree program and already in an advanced semester

Enjoy analyzing financial data in Excel – pivot tables and formulas are not new territory
Must have: first practical experience in the field of accounting
Ideally, have initial experience with DATEV and/or Lucanet

Verantwortlichkeiten

Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings – actively supporting us in day-to-day operations and learning what really matters in financial reporting
Creation of reports and financial analyses – your evaluations provide the basis for informed decisions – for specialist departments, managers, and other stakeholders in the company
Accompanying and optimizing intercompany reconciliations – you contribute to ensuring our intra-group allocations are correct – structured, traceable, and on time
Analyzing data quality in management reporting - you get to the bottom of irregularities, analyze accounts and cost centers along the P&L and balance sheet, and support in clarifying deviations
Taking over data imports into our Lucanet database – you are independently responsible for ensuring our figures are correctly, completely, and currently mapped in the systems
Participation in exciting projects in the area of Accounting & Controlling – whether process optimization or tool implementation – you contribute your ideas and help us actively develop the area further
