People in Need (PIN) is the largest non-profit organization in Central and Eastern Europe, operating in the field of humanitarian and development aid, support for human rights, and social inclusion. At present, more than 2400 employees work in our Humanitarian and Development section in 23 countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. The RGRA plays a pivotal role in securing funding, strengthening donor relations, and enhancing programme quality across PIN’s country operations. This position provides strategic support in proposal development, donor engagement, and programme positioning with focus on development and climate funding mechanisms, ensuring alignment with country strategies and global funding trends. S/he facilitates cross-team collaboration by working closely with regional leadership, HQ departments and country programmes to ensure streamlined communication and support. The role also supports project inception, post-implementation learning, and capacity building, enabling teams to design evidence-based, scalable, and impactful projects. By fostering cross-border collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing, this position contributes to PIN’s long-term growth and sustainability in humanitarian and development programming. Advisor ensures high quality reporting for strategic projects as assigned by RD, with responsibilities coordinated between Regional Grants team, and CP colleagues. The focus is on ensuring high-quality, impact-driven reporting, strengthening team capacity, and maintaining compliance with donor and internal standards.
