Odpovědnosti
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for entities across Eastern Europe, with main focus to Poland & Romania, in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP
Consolidate regional financial results and prepare variance analyses versus budget and forecasts
Oversee audit processes and manage relationships with external accountants, auditors and tax authorities
Assist with the development of annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with country managers and corporate Teams
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational and strategic goals
Serve as a financial advisor to regional leadership on key business initiatives, investments, and cost control
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in financial operations
Ensure compliance with European regulations (e.g., GDPR, local tax and statutory reporting), and Corporate financial policies
Strengthen internal controls and monitor compliance
Cooperates with finance professionals within the region
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Manage multi-currency, multi-language, and multi-legal-entity ERP environments
Drive change management, communication, and user adoption across diverse cultures
Plan and execute business and bank rationalisation projects
Požadavky
University degree, or equivalent in accounting or finance
8+ years of progressive finance experience, including regional or multi-country management
Solid understanding of IFRS and local Eastern European accounting standards
Very good understanding of general accounting in Poland (or/and in Romania)
Excellent in company business consolidation
Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong math and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to understand complex accounting processes
Ability to obtain, organise and analyse data, and to develop and implement processes to drive efficiency
Strong planning and organisational skills
Excellent cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex financial data
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience
Experience working in matrixed, multinational organizations
Excellent communication skills in English
hands-on involvement as needed
Ability to travel across Eastern Europe as needed
